It's back by popular request.

I'll try and remember to keep it resurected.

This week we have an outside socket supplying a little fountain pump in a garden pond.

Not even the customary Tesco bag or (extra ingress protection) ice cream tub to keep out the weather??? :shock:

Bet there was no RCD either.... :twisted:

10/10 for the nicely cut piece of marine ply used as a cable tidy.

He's a good chippy, but a carp spark!
 
Thats awful you can see the inner cores of the flex from the plugtop LOL ! Amazing what some people think is acceptable
 
But the extension socket is rubber, so must be weatherproof, right? :D
 
I'm actually surprised that there isn't a small bird house type roof attached to that post to keep the rain off.

I like that the flex is also wrapped around the wooden winder.

That means if there is subsidence, and the whole thing shifts farther from the house, then more cable can be played out without risking strain on the connections.

Forward-thinking like that should be praised!
