pierced my freezer......

trying to remove ice with a flat blade screwdriver, i managed to pierce the inside of the freezer.

i didn't hear any gas escaping. Have I just thrown £300 down the drain?

Whoops.....if you lost gas then yes. What make/model?

If it still works it is probably OK. You may have only gone through the plastic or aluminium lining.

Didn't hear any gas escaping when I did it so hopefully just through the lining. I did mix up some epoxy putty and seal it with that, and probably in spite of that it still works.
