Currently have some builders in finishing off a block on flat retaining wall about 1m in height maximum.
We are planning on putting some block on flat pillars in so we can have some fencing between us and new neighbours
The issue is the neighbours land is stepped up quite a bit from our land and so obviously with a low pillar neighbours can see everything going on in our garden
Just looking to see if anyone has any thoughts on maximum fence height for this sort of pillar
We are thinking of 4ft pillars at the moment - that will still leave the fence at about chest height when stood next door? Ideally I would like 5 ft pillars but not sure if thats a good idea or not
The fence is at side of house so is shielded from the wind by the house itself too
