Hello

Could someone be kind enough to assist me with a slight dilemma. I have a "Baxi Solo 2" boiler and I have been trying to undo the screws holding the pilot view window as I can't get to the injector to clean it.

I have been able to undo 2 of the screws but the other 2 don't want to move. The viewing window has been sealed with a heat set compound and its possible that the compound may have entered on the screw threads when tightened, possibly the reason why I seem to be unable to undo them.

Could anyone suggest any way then could be loosened. All advice would be appreciated.

Thanks EMTec your idea will be tried and tested.

Just out of interest, where did you get my details from, i.e. email address?

Not to worry I sorted it. Yes I have a CORGI thank you very much.

So has HRH and to be honest I'd have more faith in her....thought you had gone away anyways to bless a greater forum with your superior skills and unequalled deductive processes.
