Hi Folks,

A pipe leading into my Potterton Promax SL boiler appears to be weeping at the seal. I've tightened it up a little, but the leak has continued.

Any ideas what this pipe does? Is this the kind of thing a novice could fix or am I better off calling in someone who knows what they're doing?

Condensate pipe .... you shouldn't really but just quickly wind the nut back off, pull the rubber seal downwards. clean everything (pipe/rubber seal/fitting it fits into etc) and then make sure the pipe is pushed up all the way home into the fitting, push seal back up and then tighten the nut back up.

If it keeps leaking then you'll a GSR engineer in to have a better look at it.
