Hi,

I am looking at getting my kitchen done up.

I have the stop tap being the washing machine under the worktop. The waqshing machine is stand alone not integrated.
The pipes run from the stop tap along the wall at close to the side wall up to the ceiling. They are currently boxed in with some purpose made box.

I would like to have a kitchen unit installed in the corner but how do I treat the pipes? Would the joiner cut through the back of the unit to accomodate the pipes? It would mean slicing up some of the back board of the unit and also a little bit of the side.

Thanks

You can remove the back and shorten the depth but most [except Ikea] have a service area already at the back.Usually around 65mm or more.
