Seriously though, in that there video I could swear I saw the muppet fluxing the fitting!
That's like 90% of the flux being pushed into the pipework. What a waste and potential corrosive problem unless entirely flushed.

Those videos were awful.
Snots of solder everywhere. Flux all over the place. Silly small blow torch.
Only decent bit of advice was to wipe the excess flux off before starting.
