I have booked a PIR for Tuesday to obtain a completion certificate from building control.

I didn't have the time to install a fan isolator in the bathroom yet...run out of three core & earth & struggling with time at the moment. Is something the PIR will pick up on or can I install it after Tuesday...

Also, the downstairs spots in the kitchen and lounge are not fire rated. Is this something the electrician will make a note of in the BS7671 ?

Finally, I have made a couple of holes for extra spots in the upstairs bedroom that have not yet been connected but they will be both connected to the first spot. Would you recommend that I finish all this before the electrician arrives as I've only have one day left before the test and need to go underneath floorboards in the loft !

Thanks...

P.S. The lady from building control came to do final tests with a Martindale socket tester ! and tested only the 7 new sockets ...no continuity tests, insulation resistance..etc
