Can anyone help? I have a standard porch light wired to a switch in the hallway. I would like to change the porch light to some nice flush downlights.
Basic requirement, but not sure if possible:
1. Replace current light with 2 downlights and PIR
2. Add an extra 2 downlights that are controlled via the hallway light switch same as the current light.
This will basically give us PIR lights when coming in at night for example, but also the choice to leave the other 2 lights on in the evening to make the house look inviting etc etc.
Is this possible, looking at the wiring to the current light there are just the usual 3 wires, so don't know howto wire the PIR to be permanently on and bypass the hallway switch.
