PIR Question

Hi guys, on a PIR, should EVERY ground floor socket outlet be rcd protected?
If so, would any not protected be a code 1 ?

Code 1? Thats for IMMEDIATE danger such as exposed live parts, overloaded circuits, lack of earthing etc.

I always code them as a 2 but my boss insists on a code 1. We don't even carry out the remedial works so it doesn't make much sense to me!

Slightly off topic but what's the consensus of opinion on rdc's/rcbo's that fail the trip time tests? Code 1 or 2?
I go with a code 1, your thoughts?

I hate PIRs, very grey area.

Not a code 1, no immediate danger is present.

Code 2 if the installation was designed and installed to the 16th edition.

Code 4 if designed and installed before the 16th edition came into play, assuming requirement for portable outdoor equipment having RCD protection came with the 16th edition. I have no knowledge of prior editions.
