I have a 2 bed detached bungalow and would like to install a 4M x 3M dwarf wall, U.P.V.C Conservatory to the rear bedroom.

From Googling and doing some reading it appears that I will not need to get planning permission for this because it is conidered a permitted development and is withing the points on the link.

I understand that it needs to comply with building regulations. Will I need to get a building inspector around to check the work? I.E the footings and dwarf wall brickwork.

Thanks for the reply.

At the moment the rear bedroom has a window to the outside, I was going to install the Conservatory and then take the window out, cut the brickwork down to the floor and them fit a U.P.V.C french doors or a sliding patio door.

I was going to buy a second hand Conservatory.
