Hello everyone

Pulling old wallpaper off, a load of plaster came with it. Pics here and the size of the offending
nasty is about 24" x 12". Depth from about 3mm to about 15mm at worst.

Question is do I have to plaster? I am not good at this and a filler would be more convenient.

Is filler ok do you think and if so any particular one?

Hope to hear, best regards.

Plaster is the way to do this.

However, if you really don't want to use plaster...

Use a plaster bonding coat to fill bulk of the area. Don't worry, bonding coat is easy to mix and apply, this will save a lot of time and give you a sound foundation to apply some filler or easi-fill over the top.

I did as you said sparkwright, many thanks, worked a treat.
