Moved into new house and have plaster cracks everywhere. Mainly joint of a walk to ceiling, above internal doors and the odd one running down at a corner, walk to wall..

Wanting to do this properly so for above the doors Is it better raking out the crack and using some easy fill?

For the longer lengths down the corner of wall is caulk sufficient or a bit of bonding and tape. With few layers of easy fill tapered in or is it better scraping out couple inches and re taping.

Thanks.
