Hi Folks

I have dubbed out a brick wall (quite poorly built, as it is an old victorian terrace) in preparation for two-coat plastering, trying to maintain a key depth of 10mm. I have used mastercrete 1:6 for this.

How long should I leave it before applying the plaster undercoat?

I think I need to start applying the topcoat just as the undercoat has set.
After I have applied the topcoat, how long do I need to leave the wall before I can paint it?

Should I apply any other materials such PVC:water coats at any stage?
Should I wet the wall thoroughly before applying the plaster, or could this damage the suction/structure?

Many thanks

i'm not sure on the terminology of all your questions, but wetting the surface prior to rendercoat is ideal.

the more water the merrier. :)
