Plaster skim corrode copper?

Can finish plaster/ plaster skim corrode copper, if any is dropped on a pipe and not cleaned off?

Not generally no. Lime based cements in the other hand are an issue, but general finishing plaster should be ok
 
thanks just noticed pipes coming down from the ceilings plastered up to as well.

what could be used as a sealant/ mastic to seal around a pipe if it hasn't been plastered up to?
 
Its passing through a floor.on one.pic a boxing in on the other
 
So is it gas then?
Still good practice to sleeve it!

What's going to be done with the block wall? Dot and dab?
