I have stripped off all the old bubbly plaster from my brick walls. Now the question is:
1. Should I board (if so which Dot n dab or batten)
2. Or should I just get the plasterer to 'wet' plaster the lot and skim it? (I do like the solid feels of this type of plastering)

Also, as my exterior walls are solid and have no cavity, would it be wise to (if using 1 above) use a platerboard with insulation on? Am I right in saying you can't dot n dab this and what thickness should I use?

Which is cheaper out of the two?

Thanks
Jono.

as an all in one fix, us an insulation backed plasterboard.

yes you can dot n dab them, no bother.

just make sure they are stacked reasonably flat, 'cause once they form any kind of bow, it can be difficult to dab out.
