Hi. I'm sure this has been asked a million times but anyway.....
.....I'm in the process of ripping out and replacing my bathroom. Walls have been stripped back to studwork.
I'm just querying whether moisture resistant board is worth the extra cost (approx twice the price of normal board). I ask because it still needs fixing to the studs with screws thus breaking any seal and will still have a join between boards .
The room will be mostly skimmed and painted with the shower fully tiled (or panelled , not decided yet). Will be using hardie backer in shower enclosure.
The walls will be painted with a decent trade paint specific to the task.
Same question regarding ceiling too
Thanks
