Hi,

I have redone my en suite, well nearly. I have replaced the plasterboard in the shower tanked and tiled. I had to take off a whole board, which I have replaced. The tiled area is 80% of that board, and it is butted upto an existing board which is not tiled. I need to join the old and new. I have some scrim in the garage, the thing is it is only 1 strip, and I don’t really want to fo and have to buy a load of jointing compound for such a small bit, the rest will goto waste. Can I use anything else? Someone said I could use some tile adhesive, not sure about that so I thought I would ask here. If I need jointing compound I will get it, but would rather not, already spent a fortune on extra bits here and there..

How did you fix your replacement board - Board adhesive with Dot & Dab or screw against a batten etc ?
Wondering if you have any board adhesive left and if this could do the job...
