Plasterboard wall fixings

A final section of plasterboard is being fixed in place but unlike the other boards fixed flat securely, the final board is against a slightly uneven wall which, with the insulation underneath, means that the board is slightly curved outwards from top round to bottom. The galvanised nails are sinking into the board.

Is there a standards solution for this? Perhaps there are galvanised nails with bigger heads? Currently 40mm nails with normal size tops.

You can get galvanised nails with bigger heads, but if they're not big enough, put a washer onto the nail, hammer the nail/washer home, then give it an extra tap to countersink it beyond the flush.
