I'm after some advice, I have a job that I need to fix plasterboard over PIR insulation boards.....can i stick plasterboard directly onto the surface of the PIR insulation (celotex) board?

I then have another instance that the board needs to stand off insulation 10 / 20mm but on a taper as the timbers around the window are not square....can I again use some foam fix of something to fix the boards directly to the insulation without battoning and screwing?

Cheers,
Ant

No, you can't fix anything to pir board, fixings would have to go right through. Pir is only specified for compression load in terms of structural properties
