Plasterers Corner Bead Tape

Hi all,
screwfix has this for sale. Is it any good. It has two strips of
metal to replace a corner bead, never used it, wondering if it was worth trying or not.

i assume you meant to put a link in your post there john?

know the stuff you mean, it's paper with strips of metal that is folded to make an external angle bead when taping and jointing.

what exactly do you mean is it any good?

Sorry , I meant to say does it perform as good as a angle bead

not in my opinion mate but it's meant for taping only, not as strong as a thincoat angle bead and can't be skimmed.

I'm with TM,,,, you'd only use that stuff for taping corners. Fix a thin coat angle bead down the corner and skim it,,,, gives a far better, stronger job.
