First time question for the plasterers out there. Is there any special treatment to do before or after plastering in a bathroom - most of the walls will be tiled (not by me) but only half way up. It just needs skimming. Will waterproof PVA be better than the normal PVA before I skim? Or is it what you do afterwards.....or what the decorator does afterwards!

cheers

Just skim as normal...there are actually emulsion paints specifically for the likes of bathrooms.
