I have for the last 12 months self building a 2 storey extension on my house (steep learning curve required)!, i have finished outside rendering but have had various advice about plastering internally onto thermalite blocks. Do i pva walls first? or just use a 1-4 mix with plasticiser then skim if so do i need to scratch render or just float of before skim?

i should check you might need to carlight undercoat because thermalights suck sand and cement undercaot quickly and cracks it hope it helps might be wrong as i lay bricks SEEEEEEE you[/code]
most dryline with plasterboard. would be easier for a diy
