Plastering and dehumidifier

I have to replace a ceiling in a lounge due to water damage from the bath sink.

I also need to run a dehumidifier for 7 days to dry out the lounge floor.

Is it ok to board and skim the new ceiling and then run the dehumidifier for the 7 days ? This will help the plaster dry i was thinking, but could it also make the process go too fast ?

Anyone know if this is wrong or ok.

To be on the safer side, try running the dehumidifier for a couple days after boarding and skimming the ceiling and then see how that does. If everything is going well you should be okay to resume the process for the rest of the seven days.
