Hi I had a cooker hood installed and it has been boarded on one side. The other sides have been plastered and painted. So how can I best finish this side?

Can I get paper tape for the corners and some compound, fill the screw holes and gaps, sand down and paint over?

I’m not sure how To work the outside corners as one side is unfinished and the other side is finished.

Any help/tips appreciated. I’m competent with

diy and willing to try anything but a noob with plastering

Hi Tiger I don’t think I do as access can be taken from the loft above. The side was left open to allow installation. Cheers
