Plastering Under Kite Winder Stairs - Mesh?

Hi,

I'm about to have a new staircase plastered, and I'd like the top winder to be smooth and curved. I've seen it done, where the plasterer uses some metal wire mesh, to produce the shape, prior to the plastering. Is there a specific name of this product? Where can it be bought from?

You may be able to use Glasroc board it's made to do curves http://www.insulationshop.co/glasroc_multiboard_6mm_fire_insulation.html
