plastic and copper ??

Hello..
I will be laying some pipework for a central heating system very soon. been ask to do it in plastic but some bits will be in copper, just the exposed bits will be on cooper. can i do this ?

as long as your carfull about not getting cross polarisation if you use plastic barrier pipe

it may need to be earthed to a zinc anode

i'm sure dick puller will explain
