Plastic membrane under second osb roof

Hi all,

Put a SIP roof on an outbuilding which has gone fine but i've also put some Waferhead screws in to fix the SIP panels down which i'm going to put a rubber roof on and the screws are slightly raised and i'm reluctant to further screw them in as they might rip the top OSB board and also there is a slight dis-jointment on some of the joins so as an idea i was thinking of then either covering them with something like a small bit of gaffer tape (but then those small bits won't glue down as well ) or possibly putting a thin layer of plywood or OSB down on top like 3mm ply to "skim" the top ?
My thought as well is that if i were to put another layer of wood on top to smooth it over that i could then sandwich a sheet of plastic/visqueen between them to add an extra layer of protection ?
Any thoughts on this ?

Not sure what the point of the poly sheet would be. Are you expecting your rubber roof to leak?
I would advise just one ply layer to flatten and roof finish over.

Yeah, thanks...not "expecting" the rubber to leak but always thinking "while i'm there" kind of thing. ....thanks i'll grab some thin ply to finish it over
