Is it OK to mix different manufacturer's 15mm plastic pipe and push-fit fittings. I'm mainly concerned with recent B&Q's and JG's pipes & fittings.
Thanks John

The pipe OD is supposed to be the same size on all brands, but if it leaks then who do you blame?

Personally I don't ever use Hep2o with JG fittings, because if you demount a fitting then the stainless steel insert snags inside it.

would you put ford wheels on a vauxall, just because it is cheaper or because you found some in the shed?

It's OK to use any 15mm pipe with any 15mm fitting, but the liners should be correct for the pipe used. The main difference as far as liners are concerned is between PB (polybutylene) and PEX (cross bonded polyethylene) pipe.
