plastic pushfit waste pipes

i bought 40m pushfit for the bath and it appears to be wrong size to join to existing waste pipe too big i think and to small for the hole in the soilpipe anyone have a simple solution to a sticky situation will be most grateful

Compression waste fittings will fit the range.

No prob they fit those too. If the new comp fitting is a Mc Alpine, they have an inner "support" tube which you sometimes have to cut out with a penknife.
