best toolbox i had was plastic. kinder to tools, leave it on site in the rain with the lid closed and you don't come back to chisels surrounded by rusty water.

Plastic boxes are ok..its the poxy clips that hold the lid shut that I find rubbish..if they have metal clips they seem to be fine.

i hate the ones wiv plastic hinged compartments on the top... you open the main lid and allo yer tap washers and o rings fall out cos the clips last about 2 months
