I have got the plastic shown on the picture in the following link on my garage ceiling.

I had boxed in pipes in the garage and have recently had them re - routed. Know I have a gap in the ceiling where the box was. I went to get another piece of the plastic from the same person and put it up. But have noticed it is a different shade of white. I went back to the person I got it off and he said he cant do nothing about it and its like shades of wallpaper from different batches.

I am now in the situation where if I do not get a match, I am going to have to re-do the whole ceiling and it is only 1 year old.

Is there any way of getting a decent match?

Any help appreciated

unfortunate but not uncommon.

as your supplier has stated, there are indeed differing shades of white as well as age effected differences.

can you not perhaps live with it as it is in the garage?

I suppose I could live with it. But if something not right I like to put it right you know. I had a piece of the original plastic left in the back and it has not changed colour to what is up in the ceiling but I scratched it so cant use that. Is there no way to get a match. I am guessing no or near impossible ?
