Hi everyone

I have a 42" plasma I want to hang on the wall with either a fixed or tilt only bracket. There are so many to choose from and I know nothing about them! I just wondered if there are any tried and tested "go-to" makes for TV wall brackets? Are they all much of a muchness or does quality vary widely? And if the latter is true, what should I be looking out for?

Cheers

Quality can vary quite a bit. Plasmas are heavier than LCD screens, so the tilting brackets need better locking screws otherwise the screen will slip rather than staying at the angle you need. There's a lot of companies peddling cheaper LCD brackets as being universal.

I've done a few jobs where customers thought they could save a few quid buying cheap brackets. It's always been a false economy, especially when the right thing isn't that much more money.

One company I trust is RS100 They make it clear which product for what job, and the quality of their gear has always been good. Have a look at their site. :)
