My fiance and I have just bought a flat, we are first time buyers. We had planned to have a electric oven and a gas hob fitted in the kitchen. We have just been to have another look at the new place as we are moving in soon but we can't tell if there are the neccesary connections in the kitchen.

If anyone could tell us what we are supposed to be looking for we would be very grateful.

Thanks.

You would be looking for an existing fused faceplate, close to the existing cooker position.

Also look around for a pipe with brass fitting on it, again should be close to the existing cooker position.

Hope this helps
Alan

If you are looking at a single oven, then the chances are a 13amp plug.

most important thing u need is a gas pipe  if u r fitting a standard oven&gass hob (up to 3kw) all u need is a socket outllet in yr kitchen, preferably a double(u will have an igniter 2 plug in 4 yr hob)

answer 2 straight forward ?
No - answer written in strange format.

Look down at the device under your fingers - do you see a mobile phone?

No?

Then please write in English, not txt.
