Hello all
I must make one or two of these. It doesn't have to be hexagonal, but how to calculate the angles please? 90 degrees for one section and what angle for the neighbouring one? Or neighbouring sections cut so that both angles match? The second probably but please, what are the sums. My diy is better than my maths.
Keep well and by the way, should I line them with a waterproof membrane?

Decide how many sides you want, (e.g. 6 for a hexagon, 5 for a pentagon, 7 for a heptagon etc.
Then simply go to Google and pose the question, "What are the internal angles for a "hexagon", "pentagon" "heptagon" etc. This will tell you the angle you need to set your sliding bevel to for accurate cuts. Always test the angles with a few scraps of waste wood to be sure before starting on the real thing.
Many an expensive mistake has been made by not checking your measurements.
