I have moved into new house some 3 months ago. The house has conventional heating system and two power showers. I have noticed that the 1st floor radiators kept getting called and I am for ever bleeding them.
I have fitted automatic vents to some but the problem seem to persist. I am at a loss to what is causing so much air into the system .I called a plumber who flushed the system and fitted new thermostatic valves. This did not solve the problem and the plumber did not seem to have any answers. what concerns me is that the shower pump comes on every time the hot or called taps are opened. it even comes on i when i flush the toilet.I Do not know if this is significant or could somebody point me in the right direction please.

Thanks Adlplumbing .There are no obvious leak marks any ware. The central heatin pump is placed under floorboards in one of the bedroom next to the airing cupboard. Do you think that the power shower pump has any effect on this matter giving the fact that it iis seems to be somehow connected to both hot and coled outlet.

CH Pump under floor is not a good sign  There is probably a fundamental flaw in the pipework layout that needs to be seen before it can be altered. The power :?: flush was worthwile though. Shower pump could be flow switches or again incorrect pipework. Not connected though-just co incidental. Just a case of finding someone who can do it nearer to you than Sussex
