Be clear about what you want e.g concrete or wooden posts/ gravel boards, fence height etc, they make a difference to the price. Also shrub roots are a pain to dig out and will affect the price, or even whether the job is quoted for. Get three quotes. My builder is knocked by people but is a good source of labour for smaller or specialist jobs.
It’s fairly easy to spot the fake reviews.
This firm for example I would happily ask to quote, you can judge the character of the individual but pictures of - and even visiting - previous work is more telling.
