Plese help, how much easimix will i require for foundations

going to order ready mix for foundations, all foundations have been dug out today ready.

my building it going to be 5mx3m

foundations are 450mm wide and 600mm deep

the calculator isn't very straight forward on there website http://www.easimix.co.uk


Any of you guys know what I need to be ordering

5+3+3-.9x.45x.6=2.72 So 3 cubic meters

jesus this has really complicated things now lol

I did the calculation on the website and it said that I required 9m3 of concrete?? :-S

its an office 5m wide by 3m this the foundations dug as mentioned above...I don't want to ring an order the wrong amount, perhaps I could ask over the phone...

hang on just had a re-think about this...and I think I have done it wrong

Length = 5m + 5m + 3m + 3m = 16m
Width = 0.45 Metres
Depth = 600mm

= 4.32??

Do I remove a bit for the corners, so round it off at 4m3

That's half the price..

What would be the average price per m3, I would say im about 3-4 miles from the distributor

Other posters, as I did assumed an extension i.e. 5m x 3m x 3m, and neglected the other 5m elevation.

So yes. 4.32m³. Always allow a bit extra for those not quite so perfect trenches.
