Hi,

I am creating some bench seating in my Kitchen. There is no radiator in the kitchen which is roughly 40m3. When i removed the kitchen units to fit the bench I have noticed there is some central heating pipes capped off. I am now tempted to fit a 200 x 1200mm rad in the base of the seat itself, cover it with reflective foil and put a large grill at the front so the heat can escape. However i have since discovered plumbed in plinth heaters, so now I am not so sure. I think I am leaning more towards a radiator - seems less hassle then having something electric that could possibly go wrong. Any thoughts?

This is the bench so far, the seat bit will lift off so its accessible for maintenance etc:

Thanks
