I am interested in the idea of changing the old fuse wire type carriers in my fuse board for the Plug-In MCBs.

The fuse board is a bit old though, and the fuse carriers have four pins. I think the fuse board and carriers are made by MEM...

Can you get Plug-In MCBs to fit old MEM fuse boards??

Stay Crispy

If the CU is the 'grey' plastic type and with black fuses rather than the old metal 'beige' type with porcaline fuses then .... yes! you can get plug-in mcb's for it

Thanks alexnic...

Unfortunatley the fuse board is in an old grey metal box and the carriers are the old porcaline brownie-beige type

I believe it's going to be a case of a new CU but if I can get Plug-In MCBs - I'd rather go with that option...
