Plumb Centre - Stelrad Compacts - Differing BTUs

I have just been looking up the BTU values for the rads in an old catalogue (2002). The same radiators appear have different BTUs

eg.

Stelrad compact 450*400 1309 BTUs and online tonight the same rad only 1032.

Even the catalogue numbers match (271112). I wonder why this is?

It`s to do with the new testing of rads and the Delta t =50... basically lower F+R temps (and condensing boilers) Been driving me mad for a while too ;)

Me too. I mean even a condenser would wind itself up to 80º if it had to, wouldn't it. They don't explain it or give conversion factors... :evil:
