Hi there guys, i am currently renewing my bathroom and im doing most of the work myself, with a little help from my pals who happen to be a sparky and a joiner.

Im moving everything round and just need a little advice.
Iv done a bit of plumbing before so im happy to do it myself but just wondered if i could use the 15mm copper pipework that used to feed my sink to feed my bath?
Id always been led to believe that baths need to be 22mm but just thought id ask.

Thanks in advance.

it depends where your hot water comes from, if it is fed from a combi boiler or mains fed unvented cylinder the 15mm will be fine, if it is from a hot water cylinder fed from the tank in the loft it will work but not as well as the intended supply of 22mm, although if the bath is 3 storeys lower than the loft tank the decrease in flow between 22 and 15 will be minimal as it will be compensated for by the increase in height diff brtween the 2, on the flip side if the bath is only 2m lower than the loft tank and a few metres to the side, dropping down to 15mm will make a massive fifference to the flow and you will prob be dissapointed with it
