i'm doing a patio and trying to workout the best option for the drainage.
I'm thinking of running a series of drainage channels along the house but I don't know how to filter the water away into the bottle gully. I think they are UG50 bottle gullies.
I believe the side inlets can take 32mm, 40mm or 50mm a boss adaptor, but even if i got a pipe of one of those sizes to enter the gully, I don't know how to take the water from the drainage channel to say a 40mm pipe because the holes in the drainage channel that you knock through with a hammer is about 90mm and it doesn't look like you can easily fit a pipe underneath those flimsy drainage channels.
It would also need to have a 45 degree angle.

You can only really go up in size not down for drainage, but if it's a new patio it's best to have the fall going away from the house so that you don't need any fancy drainage solution. Also it helps keep the groundwater topped up with no extra effort.

yeah I'd prefer it if it went away from the house too but there's a retaining wall there so it could come back anyway if it doesn't soak away at the end
