Hi,
I've recently taken delivery of an American style fridge freezer with an ice maker that needs plumbing in. The FF came with a good length of 6mm OD plastic pipe. I have to marry this up to a standard 15mm isolating valve (with handle). I'd appreciate any advice on the simplest way of getting this connected up.

Cheers!

Did it not come with UK fittings then?

Well it came with a connector that has a 6mm push fitting on one side and a 1" ID thread on the other but since I'm trying to mate to a 15mm isolating valve then this doesn't seem to help too much. Thanks for the link.

PS, the isolating valve is compression both sides.

yup - ours came with a fitting that connects to a standard washing machine outlet valve!

Allows you to isolate the supply so you can change the filter!

That a very usefull link Dan ;) ;)

What the OP wants then is a Legris 1/4" mi x 6mm plastic.
1No 1/2" x 1/4" brass bush.
1No 1/2" x 15mm Endex N7 femail adaptor to fit the isolating valve
