I want to refurb our bathroom completely but am a little confused about fitting a new shower. The old shower was thrown out years ago when we moved in as it was dangerous to use ie very cold to scalding in less than a second
We have a problem with irratic low water pressure - Seven Trent as much use as a chocolate teapot.
Am I right in thinking that if I install another header tank in the loft I could use this to run a Thermostatic shower (without using hot water from the hot water tank) or would I be better using an Electric Shower. If the latter, would I need a pump to boost it or would gravity be enough?
The only pipe visible is a cold water pipe which I assume I can extend and use to fill a header tank.
For info the hot water tank is lower than the shower.
