I couldn't even be bothered to read your posting Softus.
Well then, you won't know whether I was presenting fact, opinions, or just hyperlinks to some of the best porn you've ever seen. :D

DIYnot is gradually going the same way as several other forums - petty bickering, futile arguments etc therfore in an effort to keep this forum from degenerating the same way I shall not continue this fruitless discussion.
Very well - I'll continue it without you.

Copper is better in some circumstances, but in far from all. Anyone who insists on using copper all the time is narrow-minded and not acting in the best interests of the job and the customer.

Installing the Megaflow should only be done by someone suitably qualified (having a G3 ticket).

Alternatively he may have had the installation inspected by the local building control officer to make sure it complies in which case he should be able to produce documents to support this.

Anyone can fit an unvented cylinder as long as it is inspected by Building Control - the BCO. This would have been the case for a barn conversion.

The same with Part P electrics. Pay the fee and they inspect. Anyone can do the installation.
