Why is the date important, was it presented as today's statement? The relationship remains as ever.
Wait 'til Brown is at the helm, he'll be playing Chancer of the Ex-checker behind the scenes, who else is there? Just someone to take the rap for Brown's mistakes 'taking the bullet' in exchange for a fat pension ... Witness Mr Piescott-free, no portfolio but still on the payola, a token for old Labour, soon to disappear for ever.
