I have a Viewsonic V37 PDA with inbuilt 36m flash memory which is empty. When running Sat Nav I run out of memory on long journeys. Can I use flash memory as an extension to normal memory? or, can I put programs in flash memory to free space? TIA

What operating system is it? Windows Mobile? If so, I vaguely remember there use to be a side bar allowing you to change the memory allocation depending on how much free space was available. Generally speaking I usually install (less Input/Ouput intensive) programs onto non-internal drives making more space available for memory management (in Windows Mobile)

My tom tom software is kept on my mini sd card [2gb] on my Treo pda , no problems when running it.
