Hi,

I have just got my kitchen tiled using polished porcelain tiles. The job looked great after the tiler finished. However when the kitchen Guys or plummer had finished there were a number of black lines on the floor which look like those left from black soled shoes. I have tried to remove the stains using normal cleaners but they will not budge. Anyone have any experience with this or able to recommend a product to remove the stains

Best Regards
Tom

I think you will need to use a specialist sealer and coating remover. Alas alot of tilers think that certain tiles such as yours are sealed due to them being polished on production. Aquamix products from the usa are superb and can remove stains, clean, and seal any tile on the market. There are now uk stockists to sort your problem.I guarantee it!!

HI,

Thank you for the reply,

I was eventually able to remove the stains using WD-40 and lots of elbow grease. I have a product for sealing the tiles from called Linofin which was recommended by the tile supplier.

Best Regards
Tom
