Polycell smooth over

I had a post on here regarding my cracked lining paper.
I was thinking of having a go with smothing over the cracks with that Polycell smoothover.
Does anyone think it will do the job?

I used some Smooth Over last year. It is ok in my opinion. But I certainly would not apply it over lining paper.

Don't bother - waste of time and money. I have just used this im my bathroom and had to then sand the whole wall and fill the remaining low points - so would have been quicket to have made good the individual cracks and rough finish.
waste of a days work - worst product Polycell have ever product IMHO.
